Crescendo 1 CDDI Workgroup Concentrator is an eight-port wiringconcentrator that provides FDDI over twisted-pair wire, using a uniquetechnology called Copper Distributed Data Interface (CDDI). Two FDDIports or two additional CDDI ports can be added with an optionalinterface card, permitting all valid FDDI topologies. Crescendo 1 isfully compliant with SMT 6.2 and includes an SNMP agent for networkmanagement. Crescendo 1 can be used in tabletop, rackmount, andwallmount applications due to its compact, self-contained design. Itoffers the highest available performance at a remarkably low entry price.
